Introduction On 19th December 1996, DFCC Bank opened its fourth branch in Anuradhapura to assist business entrepreneurs of all scales in the region on developing their ventures and achieving greater heights.
Presently, the branch serves a clientele of over 2,150 with the support of 14 staff members including 6 Project Officers. We offer financial assistance to business ventures in the form of project loans, working capital loans, finance leases and guarantee facilities. The branch accepts fixed deposits from investors longing to grow their savings while ensuring the maximum protection.
Today, DFCC Bank has become a leading financial institution in the Anuradhapura District, and is always successful in identifying the financial needs and providing a consistent service to their valued customers.

DFCC Anuradhapura branch offers financial facilities mainly to manufacturing, construction, service, trading and agricultural sector projects in the district. Food manufacturing, tyre rebuilding, rubber reclamation, light engineering, manufacturing of leather products & garments are some of industries covered under the manufacturing sector. The construction sector includes road and building constructions and affiliated industries such as excavations & metal crushing. The branch grants credit facilities to hotels, transportation, education and health service projects under the service sector. The agricultural sector mainly consists of commercial agricultural projects, rice milling, and poultry farming.
Special
Projects DFCC Bank donated two meticulously crafted gates, completed with two side entrance gates made of brass, for the main entrance to the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhiya, Anuradhapura. This project is part of an ongoing programme to discharge our social responsibility towards preserving our cultural heritage.
A Renal care and Renal Research Center was a longstanding requisite in North Central Province that provides medical care to thousands of under privileged patients suffering from chronic kidney disease in the area. DFCC Bank made its benevolent contribution to the humanitarian project instigated by the National Kidney Foundation of Sri Lanka by providing financial support for the construction of entrance road, gates, and boundary fence of the new unit.
Both these projects were carried out under the supervision of the Branch Office as a move toward fulfilling our corporate social responsibility to the society.
